This Design Retail article on our Havaianas project show the creation process for the concept for the client’s stores that would emphasize the product and imprint a Brazilian identity, even for its global expansion. The use of rubber (Havaianas’ main raw material), the beach feel, the street market reference (a Brazilian staple), and the tropical signature through the use of abundant light and the coconut tree are all symbols that capture the Brazilian nature in our project. For us, identifying the client needs and translate them into an interior design project is a process that is rigorous and requires constant research, analysis and interactions.
